Empire is a project management company for residential and commercial builds in Australia. They do project management very well, but their brand was a different story. When they first approached us, their entire identity had been done for $30 on a platform, and it really showed. 

This no longer reflected who they were or what they were capable of, and was misaligned with their reputation as being perfectionists. It was time for a change, and that’s exactly where we stepped in. 

The work

Our brand strategy explored Empire’s premium offering, and showed how their levels of client retention and high standard of delivery could be used to their advantage. We developed a new tone of voice, new brand values and new positioning statements to reflect their sense of pride and impeccable standards, and suddenly a brand that had looked like it cost $30 looked like a million dollars. 

Remember the saying – your brand is what people say when you’re not in the room. Now people were only saying good things about Empire.

Brand Strategy

Understanding how best to position yourself in this market, is just as hard as building, well buildings. But we worked with the Empire team to understand their core differentiator, never dropping a ball, which is pretty handy for buildings.

Visual Identity

Rich purples, a pop of lime, a sprinkling of freshness and a sexy new logo, and hey presto, a new brand was born. Empire now looked as premium as their work. We updated all their marketing materials, giving clients old and new an instant impression of how good their project management was going to be.
