Finding the perfect valentines day treat for your loved one can be really tricky. And this year Valentines day falls on a Wednesday – ironically often called “hump day”, but we didn’t lean into that.

Mid-week romance isn’t top priority for most people. You’re busy, probably tired from work and looking for a quick dinner in front of the T.V.

So it’s really important to make the most of the little moments, create elements of surprise and show your loved one just how sweet they are.

Introducing the limited edition every mayo lover has fantasised over…

Strawberry Mayonnaise?

Wait, STRAWBERRY mayonnaise? Well, it’s maybe the climax of Hellmann’s limited edition collection. They have released quite the range over the last few years, from classic garlic mayo, to a less traditional coronation mayo and spicy chilli for the hot-heads of the world:

Okay, you’re tempted now, and it doesn’t seem totally outrageous does it? It’s mad how we’ve done that, but while you’re wondering what you’d even eat it with, the suggestion would be the humble chicken nugget.

In the true spirit of Valentines Day, they could be homemade, in the shape of hearts (cute, but totally unrealistic if you’re not an IG Influencer), so you can throw some oven chips on the side for total ease.

Sweet chilli sauce has the perfect balance of sweet and savoury, and you’ll be surprised at just how moorish this unexpected strawberry-mayo combo will be. Now you’ll salivating at the thought, we need a catchy marketing line to pair with this romance gesture…

Chef’s kiss, as the kids would say. Hellmann’s are absolute bloody geniuses for this one (👀), and this OOH advert looks like everything you could ask for for this mid-week-romantic-quick-meal-with-a-happy-ending-valentines-day.

Get ready to see the limited edition mayo in an M&S near you. It’s rumoured to be making many appearances this summer. Forget strawberry’s and cream on the lawn, we’ll take a shot of this straight from the bottle.
